Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Quantity Surveying functions for residential and commercial building projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, cost control, valuation, and project cost reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Responsibilities :-
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Perform cost planning, budgeting, and cost estimation.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare tender submissions and commercial proposals.
- Conduct rate analysis and cost comparisons.
- Administer contracts in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare and evaluate Interim Payment Applications (IPA).
- Measure completed works and prepare valuations.
- Manage variation orders, claims, and change requests.
- Track budgets and identify potential cost overruns.
- Assist in preparation and settlement of final accounts.
Post-Contract Responsibilities :-
Requirements
- Min. 3-4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Dubai.
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in residential and commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, Primavera,Planswift or similar
- Good understanding of FIDIC Contracts.
- Familiarity with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Standards.
